About Us

Christian Lake is a faith ministry campground providing a place for biblical fellowship with spiritual growth and refuge for churches and families. It is our desire that guests learn the truth of the Gospel, find restoration from a broken world, and leave seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

The Bible

We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Scriptures, inerrant in the original writings, preserved by God as the absolute standard for faith and life, being completely sufficient for the promotion of godliness.

The Resurrection

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and that all who truly believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.

We believe that the crucified body of Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, that He ascended into heaven and is there now as our High Priest and Advocate.

God's Design

We believe that the practices of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are contrary both to nature and to the Word of God. Furthermore, we believe God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one's gender by surgery or appearance. (Romans 1:24-29)

The Trinity

We believe that God eternally exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.

Salvation

We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ by faith, are born again by the Holy Spirit, and have become children of God.

We believe that a bodily resurrection of the Saved and Unsaved will occur.

We believe that the Saved will enjoy eternal blessedness, and that the Unsaved will suffer eternal punishment.

Marriage

We believe in the Biblical definition of marriage, namely, the joining together of one man and one woman, and that any attempt to redefine marriage is not recognized by God, is not in keeping with the Word of God, and therefore is not recognized by God as a marriage, We believe that God calls every believer to fidelity in marriage and celibacy in singleness. (Ephesians 5:22-33)

Humanity

We believe that man was created in the image of God. That man sinned and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, needing a Savior.

Our Purpose

We believe that all Christian Lake properties belong to God and therefore should be used to honor and glorify God in accordance with Scripture.
